Land Clearing & Lot Clearing in Dallas–Fort Worth
We clear trees, stumps, brush and overgrowth to prepare property for construction, agriculture or a cleaner, more usable lot. From small residential parcels to large acreage across North Texas, we match the right equipment and approach to your land’s size, slope and vegetation.
North Texas terrain ranges from dense cedar and mesquite stands to wooded creek-bottom lots choked with hardwoods, vines and undergrowth. Clearing that material efficiently takes more than a chainsaw — it takes the right combination of tracked equipment, mulching capability and an experienced operator who can work around drainage features, fence lines and structures you want to keep. That is what we bring to every land clearing project in the DFW area.
Danny's Bobcat Services is family-owned and has served the Dallas–Fort Worth Metroplex since 1983. We are licensed and insured, work on both residential and commercial projects, and provide free, no-obligation estimates.

How we work
We walk the property with you to understand what stays and what goes, note any drainage features, utilities or structures that need to be worked around, then provide a free written estimate. On the day of clearing, our equipment is on-site early. We clear in the most efficient sequence for the terrain, haul or chip the material, and leave the property clean and graded so the next phase of your project can begin.

Common questions
How much does it cost to clear land in Texas?
Land clearing cost depends on acreage, vegetation density, tree size, terrain and site access. A heavily wooded half-acre in a tight neighborhood costs more to clear than an open two-acre mesquite pasture. We provide a free on-site estimate so you know the price before we begin.
Do you remove tree stumps as well?
Yes. Stump grinding and root removal can be included as part of the clearing package so the site is ready for grading, building or planting when we leave. We discuss stump treatment options during the estimate walkthrough.
Can you clear large acreage?
Yes. We handle parcels of all sizes, from tight in-town lots under a quarter acre to multi-acre rural tracts. We bring equipment and crew sized to the job so larger parcels are cleared efficiently without dragging into multiple weeks.
What happens to all the cleared material?
We haul off and dispose of the cleared trees, stumps and brush at a licensed facility. For large volumes of brush we can also mulch material on-site, which avoids haul-off costs and produces usable ground cover for the property.
Do I need a permit to clear trees in DFW?
Tree removal permit requirements vary by city. Several DFW municipalities have tree preservation ordinances that require permits or restrict removal of trees above a certain trunk diameter. We advise on what we know, but recommend confirming current requirements with your city before work begins.
How long does land clearing take?
A standard residential lot can typically be cleared in one day. Multi-acre rural tracts range from one to several days depending on vegetation density and terrain. We give you a realistic timeline with your written estimate.
Can you clear land and then grade it for construction?
Yes. Clearing followed by rough grading is one of the most common project sequences we handle. Combining both phases with one contractor saves time and coordination. Ask about combined project pricing when you call for your estimate.
Will you work around existing trees I want to keep?
Absolutely. We discuss what stays and what goes before any equipment moves. We flag or mark protected trees and structures during the walkthrough so the crew knows the boundaries before clearing begins.
